About
The PPAA is a federated body composed of member organisation from most Australian States and from New Zealand. The Association was formed in 1980 with the aim of maintaining high standards of practice, training and ethics in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The Australasian Journal of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, founded in 1982, is a independently peer reviewed scholarly and research journal focusing on clinical and applied psychoanalytic theory, practice and research. Its editorial body is drawn from the member organisations of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australasia (PPAA).
The Australasian Journal of Psychotherapy is included on the journal list ERA2018
