Peter kindly allowed me to choose an image from a superb collection of photos he took on a recent flight over Lake Eyre. I like this image because it plays with the eye; we are not quite sure what we are seeing, and need to reflect a little to recognize what the patterns represent. In this way it is rather like the work we do as psychotherapists.
Peter says: “The image is nice, and abstract, and is from 1500 feet over the north eastern border of the lake near where the Warburton Creek enters, carrying the floodwaters from Queensland, and shows the water receding and the mud drying out after flooding of the desert.”
